Personal, Social, Health and Economics (PSHE) and RSHE

At Bushmead Primary School, we believe in providing a broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils.  Our PHSE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education) curriculum enables children to develop the knowledge, skills, and values to support them in leading happy, healthy, and responsible lives.  Our curriculum covers three key themes: health and wellbeing; relationships; and living in the wider world.  Our curriculum also involves comprehensive Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE).  We have RSHE lessons from EYFS up to year 6.  We follow the PSHE association scheme of learning, our Science Curriculum and use the Christopher Winter Project (CWP) resource ‘Teaching SRE with Confidence in Primary Schools’, as the basis of learning.
